In the event that you require a repeat prescription medication in an emergency, outside your GP surgery hours, our pharmacist will assess your condition to determine whether there is an immediate need for the medication and whether you have previously been prescribed the medication by your GP.
For your protection, our pharmacist will only make an emergency supply in line with the Medicines and Ethics guidance and in some instances may decline a request for an emergency supply where it is not deemed necessary. In cases of uncertainty the pharmacist may direct you to your nearest hospital or Walk In Centre for assistance.
If you require medical assistance or advice outside our pharmacy hours, please contact NHS 111 or attend A&E if you need urgent medical attention.
You can also use NHS 111 online for advice and guidance.
